Day 1. Haridwar to Gupatakashi or Triyuginarayan. Drive 8/9hr.
Guptkashi is located on the route to Kedarnath on a ridge on the west side of the Mandakini river valley at an elevation of 1319 mts above sea level. Guptkashi is a religiously important town of Uttarakhand as it houses ancient temples like Vishwanath temple and Ardhnareshwar temple.
Other option could be the stay at spiritually serene Triyugi Narayan hills. These haven of peace hills, surrounded by dense jungles, lies directly above the base town of Sonprayag for Kedar yatra.
Day 2. Triyuginarayan to kedarnath by heli/pony/doli/trek as per ones own choice & money.
Kedarnath temple is one of the sacred pilgrimage centre in Northern India, located on the bank of Mandakini river at an altitude of 3584 meters above sea level. The historical name of this region is “Kedar Khand.
Kedarnath is Partham kedar in Panchakedar. Imp to note here is that apart from the walk trek mode all other modes of travel are on actual charge basis. Heli bookings are strongly advised to be booked well in advance.
Day 3.. Kedarnath to Gaurikund descent and from there to Triyuginarayan, after having darshan to hearts fulfillment.
Triyuginarayan is believed to be the capital of Himavat. It was the venue of the celestial marriage of Shiva and Parvati, during the Satya Yuga, witnessed in the presence of the holy fire that still burns eternally in front of the temple in a Havana-kund or Agni-kund, a four-cornered fireplace on the ground.
Day 4 Triyuginarayan To Deoria Tal.
Deoria Tal – The Reflection Lake
Devariyatal is an emerald lake perched at a height of 2438 mts above sea level. During the early morning on a clear day, Devariya Tal blesses the tourists with miraculous reflections of Chaukhamba peaks on its crystal clear water. .
Day 5. Chopta Tungnath, Chandrashila. 5km trek form chopta to chandarshila
Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Tungnath (literal meaning: Lord of the peaks) mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys. It is located at an altitude of 3,690 m (12,106 ft), and just below the peak of Chandrashila, towering above 13,000 ft.
It has a rich history linked to the Pandavas, heroes of the Mahabharata epic.
Chandrashila that literally suggests the ‘Moon Rock’ is the summit of the Chandranath Parvat on which the Tungnath temple of Panch Kedar is situated. The majestic Chandrashila summit serves as a vantage point that offers a heavenly panorama of the Great Himalayas.
Day 6. Chopta to Sagar
Chopta to Sagar 1.3hr drive and trek start for Rudranath stay at Liyuthi or Panaar dhar Panaardhaar/Pitradhar is located at a high elevation where tourists can enjoy trekking on the Himalayan Mountains. The site also provides a view of the valley and is dotted with asymmetrical rocks and pebbles. Pitradhar is located at an elevation of 4000 m above sea level and offers a bird’s eye view of the beautiful valley. Depending upon where permissions and sites for camping can be secured the difference in camp site will be 2km, at Max.
Day 7. Liyuthi or Panaar dahr To Rudranath 8/10 km trek.
Rudranath (Sanskrit: रुद्रनाथ) is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva, located in the Garhwal Himalayan mountains in Uttarakhand, India. Located at 3,600 metres (11,800 ft) above sea level, this natural rock temple is situated within a dense forest of rhododendron dwarfs and Alpine pastures.
Day 8 Descent from Rudranath to Sagar Village. 23 km.

Day 9 . Sagar to Kalpeshwar 60km 2.3 hr drive.
Kalpeshwar is the only Panch Kedar temple accessible throughout the year. At this small stone temple, approached through a cave passage, the matted tress (jata) of Lord Shiva is worshipped. Hence, Lord Shiva is also called as Jatadhar or Jateshwar.
Day 10 Ukhimath to Madhyamheshwar. Ukhimat to Aghtoli 22km drive and Agtoli to Madhymheshwar trek 14 km.
Sitting pretty on the foothills of towering peaks in the state’s Garhwal region,
Madhyamaheshwar (also known as Madhmaheshwar) is a revered religious site. One of the Panch Kedars (holy temples dedicated to Lord Shiva), Madhyamaheshwar is located in the district of Rudraprayag and is steeped in mythology and folklore.
Day 11 Madhyamheshwar to Buda madhyamheshwar, additional 1 & half km trek above.
The Buddha Madmasheshwar temple is located atop Madmaheshwar Bugyal, a meandering meadow. This ancient Hindu shrine is perched at an astounding altitude of 14,000 feet above.sea level. The devotees can savour enchanting views of the Chaukhamba-Mandani peaks from the head of the temple.
Day 12. Madyamheshwar to Ukhimat descent and stay at Ukhimath
This is the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath , Lord Madhymaheshwar ji and worship is done here during the winters when the temples of Kedar, Madhmahesh remain closed. The temples of Usha and Aniruddha, Lord Shiva and Parvati are worth visiting.
13. Ukhimath to Haridwar drive back

Please Don’t compare hotels in plain area with hotels in hill area, & thus expecting over the top luxury. These are some of the most difficult to get places of extreme spiritual vibrancy, and the max motto of the yatris should be enjoy with a smiling face all the difficulties that will have to be faced on the journey. Remember it’s not only the Destination that matters, but more so the journey too & thus even more so “how one journeys!”
Tenting/Camping sites are all subject to necessary permissions which may/can change at any given point of time. Best efforts will be made though, and let’s keep the ecology pritise clean.
Home stays and our Hosts are humble & loving by nature. Do not expect any over the top luxuries again. Food is super healthy and basic everywhere, which should be the essence in such yatras.

Not to miss Advice
Being on the given time is superimportant and non negotiable in mountain journeys.
Late comers won’t be indulged and will then have to meet up with all others on their own.
Lunch points will be advised upon, but one is free to have it or not as per ones own choices, but fitting with the groups routes.
Vehicles won’t be available for any persnol travel from any point A to point B, apart from the itenary.
